Academical sculptor ALEXANDER BENCE, PhD. in the art science, a member of several international restauration commitees settled for the most important actions of renewal and restauration of the national cultural memorials, for several years working abroad, internationally awarded, besides his own creative activity accepts within Bence Profart orders from various art areas.

1970 -1974 - studied at the School of Applied Arts in Bratislava, prof. L. Korkoš
1974 -1980 - studied at The Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, department of monumental sculpture, prof. M.K. Anikušin
1975 - established first School of Fine Arts for blind pupils in St. Petersburg
1987 - gained CSc. after extension studies at The Academy under supervision of I.A. Bartenev and M.K. Anikušin
1988 - worked as a tutor and adviser at The Academy with focus on questions of the fusion of architecture and fine arts- returned to Slovakia
1990 - established a private company Bence Profart in order to gain financial support for a school for blind pupils
Work : cabinet and monumental sculpture, interior architecture, general design, jewellery, restoration, tutoring and teaching.
From 1974 individual and collective exhibitions in Slovakia, as well as abroad (often with Oľga Benceová).
Monumental projects and installations:
St. Petersburg, Moscow, Bratislava-Petržalka, Brodzany.
